MacPherson raconte l'amitié entre Félix Leclerc et Frank Randolph Macpherson, un ingénieur-chimiste jamaïcain qui inspira au célèbre poète une chanson sur la drave. MacPherson a remporté le Premier prix du court métrage et le prix du public pour le meilleur court métrage canadien à la 36e édition du Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal. Le film est une production de l'Office national du film du Canada (ONF).

Martine Chartrand's animated short MacPherson, is inspired by a Félix Leclerc's song.

MacPherson recounts the friendship between Félix Leclerc and Frank Randolph Macpherson, a Jamaican chemical engineer who inspired to the famous poet a song on the log drives. MacPherson won the 1st prize for Best Short Film and the Public Award for Best Canadian Short Film at the 36th Montreal World Film Festival. The film is produced by the National Film Board of Canada (NFB).
